Innovative drilling technology with BruDrill in close conditions
With the first successful project in Belgium, separatus is celebrating a strong market entry. Together with our official drilling partner BruDrill, a complex installation was realised in urban space, under the most restricted conditions and with impressive precision.
Special feature:A probe drilling was done directly from the road through a basement window. The BruDrill team mastered this challenge with flying colours. A compact drilling rig and a drilling diameter of only 90 millimeters made this project possible in the first place.
This solution creates new opportunities for the energy renovation of terraced houses in densely built-up areas. Drilling can be done directly from the road or through existing building structures. Elaborate earthwork in the garden is eliminated and the probes can be connected directly in the house to the circuit.
Other highlights of the project:
- Two oblique holes through a garage opening, completely within the property limits
- Supply of a mini heat network with three apartments and a single-family house
- First installation of separatus probes in Belgium – compact, powerful and ideal for urban applications
- Supply and logistics of the probes and components by our distribution partner Jeroen van der Meijden (Geothermica, NL)
