separatus enables geothermal energy in urban space
We had the opportunity to accompany our drilling partner BruDrill on site at a current separatus installation in Brussels. The visit was extremely informative and impressively demonstrated how precise and safe it is to work with a drilling diameter of only 90 millimeters.
The project was located in a densely built neighbourhood with very limited space. Such conditions require experience and utmost care – this is where the strength of BruDrill in combination with the separatus system shows. Every single step, from placing the plant to separating the drilling material, was perfectly thought out and implemented. Thus, it was possible to drill quickly and cleanly in the sandy clay floor of Brussels and to install the borehole heat exchanger (BHE) without any problems.
On site, a strong separatus community was gathered to witness the installation. The verdict was unanimous: The quality and professionalism of the BruDrill team convinced everyone.
